Titleist New Irons 2026No new design this year. Only a limited finish in March. Here are the four current models lined up by 7-iron loft

The answer first. In 2026, Titleist has not released a newly designed iron.
All that came out was the “Oil Can finish” on Mar 27. It's a limited-edition version of the T100, T150, T250 and T350 with a different finish; underneath, it's the current T-SERIES released in August 2025.
In other words, the T-SERIES in stores now is the newest there is. Even if you wait, I don't expect a new one this year.
As a gear nerd who lines up every official spec sheet whenever a new model appears, I've also covered how to choose among the current four. The numbers are from Titleist Japan's official site (checked Oct 5, 2026).

The Gear Nerd's Pick

If I, averaging 72, were choosing, it's the T100. If you're undecided, the T150. All four cost the same, so loft decides it. The T100 has a 33° 7-iron and a 45° P. That leaves only 7° to a 52° wedge, so the distance steps around 100 yards connect cleanly. The T150's 7-iron is just 1° stronger at 32°, and its P is 44°. With a slightly larger head, it gives you the T100 shape with a bit more help. This isn't an impression from hitting them; it's the answer I got from lining up the official loft charts.

Bottom line

There is no reason to wait for a new model this year. All that came out was a different finish; the design is still the current T-SERIES.
Who should buy: anyone unhappy with their current irons. The four current models have been out for more than a year, and the reviews are all in.
Some people don't need to buy. If you're happy with the 2023 T100, there's no rush: the 7-iron only changes by 1°, from 34° to 33°. As for the Oil Can finish, if you can't see paying ¥39,600 for looks, the standard version is plenty. The official release doesn't mention any difference in loft.

All That Came Out in 2026 Was the “Oil Can Finish”

As far as I can tell from following the official releases, this is the only iron announcement Titleist made in 2026. I've lined it up against the standard version.

The difference is ¥39,600, about 22% more (author's calculation).

Oil Can is a dark, blackish finish. The shafts are black to match.
It looks great. I'll give it that.

But nowhere in the release did I find a number suggesting the performance changes. It doesn't say more distance, and it doesn't say more spin. So I see this as a “different color,” not a “new model.” It simply comes down to whether you'd pay ¥40,000 for the look.

It's a limited edition, so if you want one, check store stock first. The quantity has not been announced.

Choose Among the Current Four by 7-Iron Loft

Every 6-club set of the current T-SERIES is ¥178,200. You can't choose on price. What to look at is loft and head size.

The 7-iron runs from 29° to 35°. That's a 6° spread.
Irons from the same maker in the same year, a club and a half apart. Choose by name alone and you'll miss.

The column I most want you to look at is PW. The T250 and T350 are 43°. Add a 52° wedge and you have a 9° gap. Nine degrees is close to two clubs, so unless you add one around 48°, you get a hole around 100 yards. I read that as the reason the T350 set comes with a W48 from the start.

The T100's P is 45°, so the gap is 7°. No extra club needed.
That's why the T100 is my pick.

The club-by-club differences among the five models, plus the numbers for the 620 MB and CB that have been in the line since 2019, are all in Titleist Irons Compared. For how the T100 differs from its predecessor, see T100 2023 vs. 2025.

You Don't Have to Pick Just One: Titleist Itself Recommends Blending

There's a reason they all cost the same. Titleist recommends building a set that mixes models by club (a blended set).

An official Titleist article (Jan 9, 2026) says that on the PGA Tour and the Japanese tour, more than 80% of players combine multiple models, and many use a different model for the long irons (#3–#5). For example, T100 from the 6-iron through the P, with only the 4- and 5-irons in T150 or T250. For someone who struggles to launch only the long irons, it's a logical setup.

One caution: the loft steps.
The T100 7-iron is 33° and the T250 7-iron is 30.5°. Where the set crosses from one model to another, the loft gap can bunch up or stretch out. If you blend, check the lofts of the two clubs at the boundary in the official chart and make sure the gap falls within 3–5°.

To find where your own set has a distance gap, enter your lofts in the Club Setup Check (free).

When Is the Next Release, and Should You Wait?

There is no official announcement. From here on, this is my read.

The previous T-SERIES generation came out in August 2023 and the current one in August 2025. Every two years.
If that interval holds, the next one is around summer 2027. So far I see nothing pointing to a new design this fall or winter.

So the answer comes out like this.

Other makers have launched new irons this fall: the Srixon ZXi and the Bridgestone B-FORGED. If you're not set on Titleist, it's not too late to compare 7-iron lofts in the list of new irons 2026 first.

What's the loft of your PW?

FAQ

Does Titleist have new irons for 2026?

No newly designed model has been released. On Mar 27, 2026, a limited-edition “Oil Can finish” of the T100, T150, T250 and T350 went on sale. A 6-club set is ¥217,800 (incl. tax) (checked on Titleist's official site, Oct 5, 2026).

When were Titleist's current irons released?

The T100, T150, T250 and T350 were released on 8/22/2025, and the T250 Launch Spec on 9/18/2025. Every 6-club set is ¥178,200 (incl. tax).

Does the Oil Can finish perform differently from the standard version?

The official release covers the differences in finish and shaft, the price and the set makeup; it says nothing about differences in loft or performance. A 6-club set costs ¥39,600 more than the standard version.

When will the next T-SERIES come out?

There is no official announcement. The previous generation launched in August 2023 and the current one in August 2025, so at the same interval it would be around summer 2027. This is the author's read based on the release interval.
