How far below list do new drivers fall?Launch list prices set against today's Rakuten Ichiba prices, 11 models
Updated: Oct 26, 2026 22:10Contains affiliate links
The six drivers that came out in 2026 sell new at an average of 76% of list price; the five from 2024 had fallen to an average of 48%. This table sets launch list prices beside the prices recorded daily on Rakuten Ichiba. The numbers are swapped in every day.
What the data shows
- 2026 models (1 to 8 months after release): new at 48 to 90% of list price, 76% on average
- 2024 models (23 to 32 months after release): new at 38 to 56% of list price, 48% on average. Used, 30% on average
- The biggest drop was the Srixon ZXi MAX (38% of list); the smallest was the PING G440 K (90%)
Months since launch don't fully explain the drop. Models from the same year differ too. If I had a specific model in mind, I'd check the "% of list" column and wait a little if it's still above other models from the same period.

How the numbers work (read this first)
- List price: the tax-included price the maker announced at launch. "From" means the cheapest spec, for models whose price varies by shaft. Sources are in the tables of New drivers of 2026 and Used driver rankings
- New, today: the first result on Rakuten Ichiba, sorted by lowest price, filtered to Japan-market, right-handed, new items. It is the cheapest model, loft and shaft within the same series, so it may differ from the spec you want
- % of list: today's price divided by list price, rounded to the nearest whole number. Shipping and points are not included
- Since launch: months from the release date to the day of the record. For the 2024 models we only confirmed the release month, so they are counted in months
- Rakuten Ichiba only. Other shops and in-store prices are not included. Logging started on Sep 29, 2026
