I average a score of 72 and play 150 rounds a year. I picked these seriously.
When the ball keeps going right, the first suspect is your own swing. But there is some curve a club can cut.
As a gear nerd, I lined up three drivers that suit a slice by loft, moment of inertia, design and price. This is not a hit-and-compare test. I chose using only the makers' published figures and numbers from third-party measurement articles.

Bottom line

Three drivers by loft, design, weight and price

A slice happens when the face points right of the swing path at impact. A club can help in two ways: add loft to add backspin, and choose a head designed to help the face square.

The G440 K is from PING and GDO's measurement (Golf Digest Minna and GDO articles); the Qi4D MAX LITE is from TaylorMade; the used Stealth 2 HD is Golf Do's in-stock prices (Sep 12, 2026). The G440 K's moment of inertia is a comparison among the 21 models GDO measured. List prices include tax. “—” marks an item not found in the sources. ◎ marks the best of the three.

The Stealth 2 HD launched in 2/2023, and its new list price was ¥93,500. Used actual prices, in condition ranks D to B, run from ¥23,800 to ¥37,200. That is about 6 to 7 tenths off list.

No. 1 to No. 3: what's good and what's weak

No. 1 PING G440 K. You can add loft, and it twists less.Lofts are 9, 10.5 and 12°. A slicer who picks 12° adds backspin, and the spin axis tilts less. On top of that, the measured moment of inertia is 5,859 g·cm², and center-of-gravity depth is 51.7mm, both the largest of the 21 models measured. It makes the crown and the sole both carbon and moves the saved weight to the rear weight.

The weak side is the list price, ¥118,800. It is the highest of the 3 here. It makes a ball that is high and prone to spin, so if you already hit it high, you would lower the loft. It is also 46 inches long.

Great for you if you

• You miss right often, and miss the center too
• You want to cut both height and curve by adding loft

No. 2 TaylorMade Qi4D MAX LITE. Light and squares the face.A draw-biased design that squares easily, about 275g total weight, 45.5 inches long. Matsuo Yoshikazu calls it suited to people under 40 m/s head speed. Being light and short, it is easy to swing through. When you swing through, the face returns more easily too.

The weak side is loft. Standard is 10.5°, and 9° and 12° are custom. If you want 12°, there is one more step. No published measured moment of inertia is also why it didn't reach No. 1.

Great for you if you

• Your head speed isn't fast
• You want help squaring the face with a light driver

No. 3 Stealth 2 HD (used previous gen). Try it cheaply first.HD stands for High Draw, the mark of a model that helps square the face. A driver with a ¥93,500 list price can be had used from ¥23,800 (Golf Do, Sep 12, 2026). For a golfer whose strikes are scattered, the gap to the newest model gets buried in the scatter. So I think a previous-gen model is enough.

The weak side is the condition of used clubs. Rank D shows signs of use. Choosing a shop where you can see the club in person is the safe route.

• You can't yet take advantage of the newest model's performance gap

3 things you can do for ¥0 before buying a driver

1. Count the clubs that go right.If only the driver goes right, it is the club; if every club goes right, it is the motion.
2. Raise the sleeve loft one step.If your driver has an adjustable hosel, you can try 10 balls before you buy a new one.
3. Make the loft 10.5° or more.If in doubt, 12°.

Where this ranking is weak

• This is not a hit-and-compare article. Loft, moment of inertia, weight and price are published figures and a recap of third-party measurements.
• I found no source for measured curve on the Qi4D MAX LITE and Stealth 2 HD.
• I don't recommend a new driver to anyone who curves it more than 30 yards right with every club. It fixes only part of the curve.
• Used prices change with stock (the values of 9/12/2026).
