RankingsBest Wide Golf Shoes (3E and 4E) 2026Three 2026 pairs you can pick by foot width, lined up by width, weight and price

I average a score of 72 and play 150 rounds a year. I picked these seriously.
Even at the same 26cm, if the width doesn't fit, it hurts for all 18 holes. Look at width before size.
As a gear nerd, I lined up three golf shoes you can pick by width from 2026 by width (the E rating), weight and price. These are not impressions from wearing them. I chose using only the numbers the makers publish.
The Gear Nerd's Pick
Mizuno NEXLITE ENERZY II (BOA ¥18,700 / laces ¥15,950) Standard is 3E, WIDE is 4E. About 280g a shoe (26.0cm), the lightest here. It is the first pair to try if your feet are wide and nothing fits. It is the only one of the three with both width and weight published.

Bottom line
If your feet are wide and you want the first pair to try, take No. 1, the Mizuno NEXLITE ENERZY II (3E, 4E, about 280g).
The new Mizuno NEO IMPACT (¥21,450, 3E, 4E) is No. 2, for people who want cushioning.
If you want grip and stability and to choose from narrow, standard and wide, No. 3 is the FootJoy PRO/SL.
If you want to see new shoes overall, go to New Golf Shoes 2026.
Three pairs by width, weight and price
Width is how wide the foot is. The more Es, the wider. Every maker marks it differently, so choosing by “26cm” alone often leaves the width wrong.
| Rank | Shoe | Width | Weight per shoe | Lacing | Price (incl. tax) | Released |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| No. 1 | Mizuno NEXLITE ENERZY II | ◎ 3E / 4E (WIDE) | ◎ About 280g (26.0cm) | Laces / BOA | ◎ Laces ¥15,950 / BOA ¥18,700 (reference) | Mar 13, 2026 (BOA) |
| No. 2 | Mizuno NEO IMPACT | ◎ 3E / 4E | about 360 g (26.0 cm) | BOA | ¥21,450 (official online) | Sep 4–18, 2026 |
| No. 3 | FootJoy PRO/SL | Narrow / standard / wide | — | Laces / BOA | Laces ¥26,400 / BOA ¥29,700 (retailer) | Feb 13, 2026 |
Even a “4E” changes shape from maker to maker. If you are looking for wide shoes, starting with Mizuno's two pairs is the shortcut.
No. 1 to No. 3: what's good and what's weak
No. 1 Mizuno NEXLITE ENERZY II. Wide and light.Standard is 3E, WIDE is 4E. About 280g a shoe (26.0cm) is the lightest published number among 2026 new shoes. Laces are ¥15,950 and BOA is ¥18,700 (both reference prices). For the BOA model, a one-year waterproof warranty is listed officially.
The weak side is the waterproof warranty. The one-year warranty is listed officially for the BOA model, and I found no source for the lace model's term. Heavy shoes often give a firmer base, so lighter is not always better. If you walk 18 holes, lightness counts.
Great for you if you
- Your feet are wide and you can't find shoes that fit
- You want shoes that don't tire you over 18 holes
No. 2 Mizuno NEO IMPACT. Wide, with an emphasis on cushioning. It comes in 3E and 4E, about 360g a shoe (26.0cm). Mizuno states that cushioning is up about 24% at the forefoot and about 15% at the heel against its HAZARD ENERZY. It analyzes the swing every 1/300 second and changes the stud layout by zone of the sole. It also has a one-year waterproof warranty.
The weak side is that it is about 80g heavier than No. 1. It is BOA only, with no laces. At ¥21,450, it is about ¥5,500 more than No. 1 with laces.
Great for you if you
- You want wide shoes with cushioning
- You want to retighten with BOA mid-round
No. 3 FootJoy PRO/SL. Pick your width from three.A tour-oriented spikeless shoe, the sixth generation. It comes in three widths: narrow, standard and wide. It is said to be about 10% lighter than the last model, with about 30% more grip. It uses a 3-layer upper, “Z-TEC,” and a new last that tightens the heel and widens the toe.
It is No. 3 because its weight could not be confirmed, and for price. ¥26,400 with laces and ¥29,700 with BOA (retailer) is the highest of the 3 pairs. It is a candidate if you value grip and stability.
Great for you if you
- You want grip and stability
- You want to choose from narrow, standard and wide
What to check before you buy wide shoes
- Find where your current shoes hurt.If the base of the little toe hurts, the width is not enough.
- Try them in the evening.Feet swell and widen toward evening, the same state as late in a round.
- Decide between BOA and laces.BOA is easy to retighten mid-round; laces let you vary the tightness across the instep.

Where this ranking is weak
- These are not impressions from wearing them. Width, weight and price are the makers' published figures.
- Width markings differ by maker, and even the same 3E does not fit the same.
- I found no source for the FootJoy PRO/SL's weight.
- Prices move daily. In the table, “reference” and “retailer” prices come from somewhere other than the maker.
Does the base of your little toe hurt in your shoes?
