Mizuno PuttersM.CRAFT City, M.CRAFT X and M.CRAFT OMOI

Updated: Sep 13, 2026Contains affiliate links

Mizuno's putters are the M.CRAFT series only, and every one is milled from soft iron. Milling is a labor-intensive way to build, so that's the first thing a gear nerd notices. The other strength is that Mizuno publishes head weight. You can compare by weight, not just shape.

Bottom line: how I'd choose

In the City series, your weight preference decides the shape. For lighter, the blade-type KYOTO and OSAKA (about 365g). For heavier, the mallet-type NAGOYA and TOKYO (about 380g).
For golfers who want to choose their own look and weight combination, the M.CRAFT X (¥61,600). It pairs a soft iron face with an aluminum back in nine combinations.
The standard length is 34 in. on all of them.

In the City series, head weight splits by shape. The blade-type KYOTO and OSAKA are about 365g, the mallet-type NAGOYA and TOKYO about 380g, a 15g gap. As I wrote in the putter article, few makers publish head weight. Mizuno is one that does.
