RankingsWomen's Putter Rankings 2026My three picks from length, head weight and price
Updated: Oct 7, 2026Contains affiliate links
Among women's putters, No. 1 is the PING G LE 4 ANSER 2D, No. 2 the XXIO Ladies Blade Putter and No. 3 the ONOFF PUTTER LADY OM-6.
Checking eight, length showed the biggest difference.
32 in. only, or 33 in. only. Four of the eight list just one length on the official spec table. Even though height and setup differ for every golfer.
I'm a gear nerd who normally studies only how clubs are built, with an average score of 72 and a best of 68. I ranked them on three points: length, head weight and price. If you can't tell whether your putter fits, you'll know what to check first.
The Gear Nerd's Pick
No. 1: PING G LE 4 ANSER 2D (¥46,200) Standard is 33 in. When you order, you can specify any length from 31 to 36 in. A putter's setup falls apart if the length doesn't fit. Too long and you stand up; too short and you hunch. Your posture changes every stroke. Head weight is also published at 350g. Among the eight, only PING's three let you fit the length to yourself and know the weight before you buy. The ANSER 2D is the cheapest of those.

Bottom line
First, measure the length of your current putter. From the end of the grip to the sole. A tape measure will do.
If the end of the grip sticks out at address, it's too long. If you have to round your back to reach, it's too short.
If the length doesn't fit, order a specified length from PING, or go to the XXIO, which offers 31 and 32 in.
If your current putter feels comfortable at address and you hole the one-meter putts, you needn't replace it. A putter is a club where you keep the one that fits for a long time.
Ranked by length, head weight and price
A putter has no distance or ball flight numbers. I looked at three things.
- Length. How many inches there are, and whether you can choose.
- Head weight. Whether it is published. It's the number that sets the feel of the stroke, yet many makers don't give it.
- Price. Manufacturer's suggested retail price.
Shape (blade or mallet) comes down to your taste at address, so I left it out of the ranking. It's in the table.
The source is each maker's Japan official spec table. Odyssey's women's models are left out this time because I couldn't confirm their official page.
No. 1 G LE 4 ANSER 2D, No. 2 XXIO Blade, No. 3 OM-6
Here are the eight putters officially offered as women's models.
| Model | Length | Head weight | Shape | Price (incl. tax) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| No. 1 PING G LE 4 ANSER 2D | ◎ 33 in. (orderable at 31 to 36) | 350g | Blade (Anser type) | ¥46,200 |
| PING G LE 4 LOUISE | ◎ 33 in. (same) | 355g | Mid mallet | ¥55,000 |
| PING G LE 4 OSLO | ◎ 33 in. (same) | 360g | Large mallet | ¥55,000 |
| No. 2 XXIO Ladies Blade | 31 and 32 in. | Not published | Blade | ¥41,800 |
| No. 3 ONOFF PUTTER LADY OM-6 | 32 in. | 355g (518g total) | Mallet | ¥26,400 |
| Cleveland Frontline Elite ELEVADO (Ladies) | 32 in. | Not published | Mallet | ¥30,800 |
| Cleveland HB SOFT 2 #1 (Ladies) | 32 in. | Not published | Blade | ¥19,800 |
| Yonex Fiore | 33 in. | Not published (520g total) | Mallet | ¥19,800 |
Why This Order
| Rank | Model | Why I ranked it here |
|---|---|---|
| No. 1 | PING G LE 4 ANSER 2D | You can order any length from 31 to 36 in., and head weight is published at 350g. Only PING's 3 have both of these 2, and this is the cheapest of them at ¥46,200. |
| No. 2 | Dunlop XXIO Ladies Blade | Offers 31 and 32 in. This is the only one of the eight where you can choose length on a standard model. It missed No. 1 because head weight isn't published and the shape is blade only. |
| No. 3 | ONOFF PUTTER LADY OM-6 | Every number is published: 355g head, 518g total, ¥26,400. I put it at No. 3 because the official spec lists just 1 length, 32 in. |
I looked at whether you can fit the length to yourself, whether head weight is known, and price. Change the criteria and the order changes. Reread it by whichever point you look at first.
No. 1 G LE 4 ANSER 2D: you can specify the length, and the weight is known
The G LE 4 putter can be ordered in any length from 31 to 36 in. Among the eight, only PING offers a range this wide.
Why length first? Because length sets your posture. Too long and you stand up. Too short and you hunch. If you can't stand the same way every time, it's hard to hit with the same force. This comes before head shape or material.
The head is 350g, published as a number. The face has a soft resin insert, the same material in all three of the ANSER 2D, LOUISE and OSLO. The ANSER 2D is a stainless blade at ¥46,200. The mallets, the LOUISE (355g) and OSLO (360g), are ¥55,000. Released Apr 9, 2026. Left-handed is available.
Weak point.
The price is high. ¥46,200 is more than 2 times the cheapest of the 8, the 2 (¥19,800). If 33 in. is just right for you, you may not need to pay this much.

No. 2 XXIO Ladies Blade: 31 and 32 in.
The XXIO lets you choose between 31 and 32 in. Of the eight compared, this was the only putter where you can choose length on the standard model in the shop, without a special order.
31 in. is the shortest setting.
Dunlop says the face carries dense tungsten, so the center of gravity sits forward. The body is cast stainless steel. The grip is a dedicated 73.5g one. ¥41,800. Left-handed is available.
It missed No. 1 because head weight isn't published, and the shape is only a blade. There's no option if you prefer a mallet.
No. 3 OM-6: ¥26,400, with every weight published
The ONOFF OM-6 hides no numbers. Head 355g. Total 518g. Grip 59g. Before you buy, you can put your current putter on a scale and compare.
A mallet. The face has a resin insert, loft is 3.5° and the price ¥26,400, which is ¥19,800 less than the PING ANSER 2D placed at No. 1.
The reason for third place is length. The official spec lists only 32 in. Golfers it doesn't fit will have to look elsewhere.
The five that missed the top three, and who needn't buy
- PING G LE 4 LOUISE and OSLO: you can specify the length, same as the ANSER 2D. If you like mallets, these would be No. 1. They cost ¥8,800 more, so I ranked the ANSER 2D above them.
- Cleveland HB SOFT 2 #1 and Yonex Fiore: both ¥19,800. The cheapest of the 8. Plenty as a first 1 club. Only 1 length.
- Cleveland Frontline Elite ELEVADO: a front-weighted mallet with more than 30g of tungsten in the face. ¥30,800. Head weight is not published.
Who needn't replace their driver
- Golfers who are comfortable at address with their current putter and mostly hole the one-meter putts
- Golfers whose three-putts come from distance control on the first putt (changing the putter won't change that. Practice long putts first)
- Golfers who haven't yet counted whether they miss left or right or by pace (try hitting 20 putts from 1.5m and counting first)
Grip thickness can fix it sometimes, for a few thousand yen. I wrote about it in Short putts and grip thickness. The story of how few makers publish head weight is in How to choose a putter.

FAQ
What length putter is best for women?
Putters sold as women's models run 31 to 33 in. The right length leaves no grip end sticking out at address and doesn't make you round your back too much. Height alone doesn't decide it, so the sure way is to set up with it in a shop. The PING G LE 4 can be ordered anywhere from 31 to 36 in.
Blade or mallet, which is better?
Whichever lets you aim straight more easily at address. Blades are easier to work, and many mallets are built to stay steadier on off-center hits. Decide by how easy it is to set up rather than a performance gap.
Is a cheap women's putter fine?
Yes. Among these eight, the Cleveland HB SOFT 2 #1 and the Yonex Fiore were ¥19,800. Loft and lie are about the same as the pricier models. What differs is whether you can choose the length and whether head weight is published.
Why aren't Odyssey's women's putters included?
Because I couldn't confirm their spec tables on the official sites. I rank only models whose numbers I could verify myself. If I can confirm them, I'll revisit with the same criteria.
